Mixed Funds
Our Mixed Funds are widely diversified across a broad range of assets. Different asset classes respond differently to changes in the economic and business cycle, hence the investment returns from one asset class tend to be uncorrelated with those of other asset classes. By investing in a mix of asset classes and reviewing and changing the weightings in a measured way, the fund managers aim to achieve a positive investment return over the economic cycle with lower risk.
A mixed fund may comprise any of the following asset classes: equities, fixed income securities, and alternatives including property funds, commodity funds or exchange traded securities, hedge funds and structured credit.
